Pairing Our Passion With Purpose
We like to think of ourselves as wine evangelists. Our purpose is two-fold:
- To spread the word about how fun and approachable wine can be.
- Introduce people to the fantastic wines produced in the Central Valley.
Pour People is a Modesto -based wine education team focused on small production, Central Valley wines. As a husband and wife team, we’ve partnered with local wineries to help promote their brands through hands-on tasting classes and workshops.
KELLY MANTEL
As a wine marketing professional by day, I work with wineries and wine brands to help tell their unique brand story and improve DTC strategies. Otherwise, you can find me grilling in the backyard, sipping a glass of wine, or trying to be of help to Candace in the kitchen.
CANDACE MANTEL
Most evenings you can find me enjoying a glass of Rosè or Pinot Noir while cooking. I love how the perfect wine and food pairing can make a meal a remarkable experience. When I’m not working my day job or tending to the countless other responsibilities of a wife and mom, I’m with our son Oliver Cole.
